This reminds me of one of my favorite memes, where my friends and myself would take song lyrics, translate them from English to French to German back to English with Babelfish, and send them each other to identify. This will definitely add an element of difficulty to it.
You can just ask your friends to keep you in mind when making a purchase on Amazon.com; just give them your gift certificate to use when they're ready to buy and in return they can write you a check. As said above there's no way to do it through Amazon.
